Performed in December 2005, this show proved to be one of the most popular ever performed at The Swinton High School.
The show received many favourable reviews, and even featured in the local newspaper.
The Rocky Monster Show created characters from the insane 'Rocky Fenton' - a mad scientist who wanted to create life, to the lascivious Gloria, who needed her 'toy boy' and then to Dan and Rebecca - two innocent scientists who were lured to the Fenton laboratory in order to assist the rock and rolling professor in his genetic experiments.

Through the course of this musical feast there are many other characters who show their true personality. Mrs Danvers - was she really a zombie? Or the station master - was it really true he was a brother, cousin or uncle to every other person in the village? Mungo and Elsa - was it really love or just a passing romance? Who knows!!
The audience were delighted with the show and one even commented upon how he thought we had "borrowed" some college students to play the lead parts! Even the Salford Advertiser decided to do a full page spread on our show.
School visits to our show were from Mossfield Primary School, The Deans Primary, St. Peter's, Clifton County Primary, St. Mary's RC Primary School, Wardley Primary and St. Augustine's Primary. Every child couldn't fail to be impressed by the stunning surroundings, superb performances and extreme professionalism shown by all in the cast and crew.
