art and designArt and Design is taught in the Art, Craft, Design and Textiles Department. The Department is exciting, creative and is well known for teaching successful, innovative and engaging projects. We use up to date
Technology whilst also keeping some of the traditional elements of Art Craft and Design.

You may study Killer Plants, researching, drawing and photographing a variety of unusual plants. Or would a trip to Yorkshire Sculpture park interest you? where you create sculpture in the outdoors.

A budding artist is highly motivated, hard working and passionate about what they do and also their work. They are committed to always trying their best, taking creative risks and new opportunities. They are able to change and adapt their work as it progresses and be willing to take on board new ideas, from either pupils or teachers.
