Help and Advice

We are currently developing this new area of our site - and we would like you to help us.

We want to know what you, pupils and parents would like to see in this area. For example, you might want some advice about future career paths, coping with bullying, the dangers of drugs, or general educational advice!

We welcome all suggestions for this area and are open to all ideas. The aim is to make this area of the site a much used resource, for both pupils and parents alike.

For more information, contact Scott Croston at the school.

Anti-Racism

It is part of our Respect agenda that we do not tolerate racism in any of its form in our school.

Across our entire curriculum, we encourage respect for and understanding of other cultures and beliefs. We are pleased to report that our school has greater ethnic diversity than the average in Salford and see it not only as an asset but also an opportunity the celebrate our diversity.

We do not accept racism in any of its forms. Any pupil of any race who feels that they are the victim of racial prejudice or knows that racism is active should report the matter to their form tutor, year manager or head of year. Any such racism will be investigated, dealt with and recorded in accordance with Salford local authority policy.

Anti-Bullying

At The Swinton High School we are working together to stop bullying from taking place. At school you will be informed about how the anti bullying policy works. This will be done during assemblies, form time, PSVE and posters displayed around school. During the month of November we will be participating in an Anti Bullying week so look out for the activities that will be taking place.
