Required for May 2010, a well-qualified teacher of Girls’ P.E. to teach in a highly successful and supportive Creative Arts faculty of well-qualified staff. This post offers an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified teacher to develop professionally and to contribute to future whole school improvement or for an experienced teacher seeking development opportunities.
The Swinton High School is popular with a rising pupil roll, one of the most improved schools in the country. We are also due to begin our second phase status as a specialist school for the performing arts. Ofsted inspectors commented in May 2007:- “Specialist status has a noticeable impact in many areas”. Participation in extra curricular activities by an external assessor has recently found us to be outstanding.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed to teamwork and to ensuring that all our pupils reach their potential.
