Welcome to the website of The Swinton High School, formally designated by DCSF as a High Performing Specialist School for the Arts.
It has been my privilege to be the Headteacher of The Swinton High School since January 2002 and I am continually inspired by the enormous potential, enthusiasm and talent amongst all of our staff and pupils.
Nationally recognised as one of the most improved schools in the country at both key stages 3 and 4, we are determined to maintain our momentum as we continue to make across the board improvements in all aspects of our work.
We are officially recognised as a school whose pupils make outstanding progress adding value to pupils’ achievements made before they come to our school and our voluntary commitment to extra curricular activities has been judged as outstanding.
