Hello, I’m Robyn and I play Maria. I have really enjoyed taking part in the production. I have had so much fun and have learnt a lot. It has been a challenge remembering all the lines and the dances, but I am so glad I had the chance to take part.
My name is Edem. Being in West Side Story has been loads of fun and hard work. I play the part of Tony in the show, which I was really pleased to be picked for. The teachers have been very good because they tell you when you are wrong and you learn from it. I think that this year's school production will be the best we have ever done and I hope you all enjoy it.
Hi, I’m Kate and I am playing a character called Anita. She is the leader of the girls in West Side Story. I think that the whole experience has been unbelievable. Yes, we have hard times, but at the same time we have had lots of fun. I really hope that every single performer has had as much fun as I had, and that they will remember the best moments for the rest of their lives.
Hi. My name is Lenny and I play the role of Action. Action is the most aggressive person in the Jets. Also Action leads the Jets when Riff and Tony die in a tragic death. It is also a great privilege to work with such a great cast and I have had a wonderful time in the show. I'd like to say a big thanks to all the staff who have worked and put up with us!
Hello, my name is Beverley and I am a senior singer in West Side Story. This is my second performance at school and I think it is very enjoyable. Since being in West side Story, I have built up my confidence to perform in front of an audience and in the future I hope to do more performances. Finally, I would like to say “A huge thank you” to Miss Smith and Miss Whitehead for helping me build up my confidence and giving me tips on how to become a better performer.
Hi, I'm Sam. My experience from doing West Side Story is that I have made friends and learnt more about myself. I have learnt to be confident with myself and act it out. My confidence has really been built up these last couple of weeks and nobody has put me down. Overall, being in West Side Story has been a fun and fulfilling experience for me.
Hello, may name is Katie. I have enjoyed West side Story - even though it has been hard work, it has been really fun. We have had many rehearsals and I've learned something new about acting, music and dance at every one. West Side Story has been a memorable experience and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
My name is Nicholas and I play the character Diesel in the production West Side Story. I have really enjoyed myself and have learnt lots of new things. It has been really hard work, even rehearsing at weekends, but hopefully all of our hard work has paid off and the finished production shows this and I hope everyone enjoys our production this year.
My name is Megan and I am a Jet dancer. I have really enjoyed the experience and I couldn't wait until we got started on the show. The best thing has been meeting new people and being more confident and getting our costumes. The worst thing has been going to the rehearsals at weekends, but it was worth it in the end.
